The World Health Organisation defines health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity (WHO, 1948).
The RareQoL team are advocates with long term health conditions. our physical, psychological and social well-being have to be considered.
This year 2021 marks a new era as we Rise -Up from Lock-down. Our RareQoL Team are working with community groups and small Charities to develop projects and activities which will improve well-being and contribute to social prescribing initiatives.
We are following government guidance set out in the Well-being of Future Generations Act in the development of our
well-being resources and activities.
