We are a social enterprise, focused of grass roots community based activities
To improve Quality of Life and wellbeing or the communities we serve?
Under-represented groups and diverse communities: including Rare Disease Communities, Rural Communities, Ethnic Communities.
We are moving into our community based offices in September 2021. One of our main aims it to develop wellbeing centre for our local rural community We are hoping to get funding to start with the development of a bilingual wellbeing newsletters for the local community. This is based on a survey of the local community about their wellbeing needs.
Our #whsodeVOICE campaign is designed to raise advocate for under-represented groups who do not always feel they have voice about their needs.
Our RCNet is led by Sondra Butterworth and Elizabeth Davenport.
We are building a network of Rare Disease Advocates who may be individuals or small groups and charities who have limited resources.
Our aim is to build and share resources, skills and network to work collaboratively.
Our work includes project related to community based psychosocial issues, equality diversity and inclusion and providing a voice for those in the rare disease community who feel under-represented rare disease community.
We work with a range of organisations including:
